Free Chicken Shack Sundays? Shake Shack Says Yes—But Only Until July 27

If you’ve got a thing for crispy chicken sandwiches (who doesn’t?), this one’s for you.

In honor of National Fried Chicken Day, Shake Shack is giving away a free Chicken Shack sandwich every Sunday through July 27—as long as you hit a $10 minimum food or drink purchase.

Yup, you read that right: free fried chicken every Sunday in July, and Ann Arbor’s very own Shake Shack on 3030 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 is part of the promo.

Here’s how it works:

  • You must order through the in-store kiosk, mobile app, or shakeshack.com.

  • Use promo code CHICKENSUNDAY at checkout. Heads up: it’s case-sensitive, so ALL CAPS.

  • $10 minimum must be met before taxes/fees and excluding the free Chicken Shack.

  • That $10 can include any other food or drinks—burgers, fries, shakes, hot dogs. Just not gift cards, the BBQ chicken sandwich, chicken bites, or paid add-ons like bacon or avocado.

  • Limit one free sandwich per order.

  • No go on drive-thru or third-party delivery apps. And if you’re catching a flight or game—airport and stadium locations are excluded too.

So if you’ve been craving a spicy crispy pick-me-up on a Sunday, now’s your excuse to hit up Shake Shack and make it count.
